Ali Babazadeh, President


Ali started Habitech Systems in 1999, and since then the company has completed thousands of home-integration systems on Florida's east coast. HabiTech provides all of the latest low-voltage services, technologies that new homebuyers demand: security, structured wiring, home network, multi-room music, home theater, total home control, and central vacuum. And since 2007, HabiTech has been bringing that same expertise to commercial industries, installing intercom systems, telephone, solar, and more.

Dan has made Structured Cable of Virginia dominant in its local market by working with the highest volume builders in the industry. A second office was opened in May 2008, and within the next few months, the SCVA corporate office will move to a larger, newer location. Dan's wide range of professional affiliations attests to his commitment to the growth and future of the industry. From his continuous involvement with HBAR since the early 70s to his leadership in incorporating "green" processes into home design, Dan has proven himself a pioneer in the integration industry.

Anthony is President and CEO of Global Security & Communications. Founded in 1988, and with offices in Oregon, Washington, and the greater Kansas City area, Global has provided low-voltage systems solutions to over 10,000 homes and businesses. In addition to contributing to a wide range of local charities and initiatives, Anthony is actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including NAHB, HBAPDX, MBA Pierce, HBA of Lane County, HBA of Umpqua Valley, NBFAA, OBFAA, WBFAA, CEDIA, and NFPA.

Ralph began Security Force 13 years ago and is recognized as the premier low-voltage integrator among an elite group of competitors in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. Security Force is a GE Security Pro specialist and is highly active within the industry—BBB, NCFBAA, NFBAA, Home Builders Assoc. of Raleigh, CBUSA, and the Triangle Builders Guild—as well as outside of it, as Security Force was this year’s presenting sponsor for the Make A Wish Foundation for Eastern NC. In addition to building a world-class company, Ralph and his wife are also raising three girls.





Kris Kaymanesh Sight and Sound Systems, Inc.

Kris established Sight and Sound Systems, Inc. in 1994 and has since built the company into one of the nation's premier low-voltage integrators. SASSI has provided automation integration for the White House, and is currently the only NHQ-certified integration organization in the Eastern US. SASSI is affiliated with CEDIA, NAHB, NVBIA, NHQ, and BBB. Kris enjoys coaching volleyball and camping with his wife Shari and three children, Naveed, Kian, and Maryam.

Bob purchased Cyclone Home Systems in 1992 after a 20-year career with Dun and Bradstreet. Since that time, he has built the company into an award-winning organization, garnering such distinctions as the HBA Special Focus Award, HOBI Awards for Best Options Program for a Builder, Best Product Showroom, and Best Supplier Website, and Best Product Offering by HBA of Connecticut. Today, Cyclone Home Systems serves customers in Connecticut, western Massachusetts, and parts of New York and Rhode Island.





John Pastore Crime Prevention Security Systems
John Pastore, President


John founded Crime Prevention Security Systems (CPSS) in 1975 and since then has developed the company into a full technology integrator. CPSS is still the one to call for residential or commercial security, but their integration expertise now includes all low-voltage systems. John's involvement in the local community and building-related industries includes membership in the Builders Association of North Central Florida, Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, Marion County Building Industry Association, Ocala Chamber of Commerce, Alarm Association of Florida, and Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County. Ranked #90 by SDM Magazine in 2007.





Allen Polsky Connective Home

Allen brings three decades of experience in the security industry to his role as CEO of Connective Home. Joining the company in 2001, Allen helped to build Connective Home into one of Philadelphia's top 100 companies. Along with his wife Barbara and business partner Ron Adams, Allen assumed ownership of the company in April 2007. Connective Home is a member Of the Better Business Bureau of Philadelphia, NHBA, and the Delaware/Chester HBA and CEDIA.

Vince launched EMC Security in 1998 following an already varied and successful career in the industry. A decade later, the company has been listed in SDM’s top 100 (at #55) for recurring revenue, and chosen by Barrow County Times readers as "Best Security Company in Barrow County." EMC is a GE Security Pro specialist, and Vince is actively involved in numerous Chamber of Commerce and Home Builders Associations in the greater Atlanta area. He lives in Sugar Hill, Georgia, with his wife Susan and their daughters Natalie, Alexis, and Brooke.





Michael Ralph Interactive Security Systems

Michael began as President/CEO of Interactive Systems upon the company's formation in 2000. Since then, Interactive has achieved great distinction in the industry including GE's "Quota Buster" in 2007 and the only perfect performance score for 2007 from Fox Ridge Homes, one of Nashville's largest residential builders. In June of 2008, only eight years after opening its doors, Interactive projects that it will reach 3,500 alarm monitoring accounts. Interactive is a member of the Middle Tennessee and National Home Builders Associations, the Tennessee Burglar and Fire Alarm Association, and the Better Business Bureau. Michael and his wife Diane have one son, Michael Jr., who has just completed his first year of college.





Bruce Scott Scott Alarm

Bruce launched the original Scott Alarm in 1985, meeting a need that he saw firsthand as a burglary detective. Over the 12 years that followed, Bruce grew the company into the nation’s fourth largest alarm service, with a customer base of over 400,000 and offices nationwide. He sold Scott Alarm in 1996 but continued on as president until he retired nearly two years later. Then, in 2004, having fulfilled his non-compete agreement, Bruce re-secured the company name, redesigned the logo, and introduced the new Scott Alarm—better than ever!





Chris Vendemia CV Security

Chris started CV Security in 1984 after a decade in the electronics and security industries. Over the past 25 years, he has expanded the business to include a new division, CV Systems, bringing total-home integration to residential builders in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Chris is dedicated to the well-being of his industry and is actively involved in such organizations as CEDIA, Maryland Burglar and Fire Alarm Assoc., National Burglar and Fire Alarm Assoc., and the National Capital Builders Assoc., to name a few. Chris and his wife Michelle have two children, Vinnie and Camille, and live in a suburb of Annapolis.

Tom brings 35 years of experience—and 25 of that as owner and President of Vitex—to the low-voltage integration industry. In 2003, Tom’s enthusiasm about AIN and the powerful brands that AIN would bring together was enough to entice him out of retirement.

Russell Cersosimo, CEO of Guardian Protection Services, began his career in 1972 as an installer and in 1975 founded Guardian Protection Services as a one-man operation. Today, with over 1600 employees, Guardian is the nation’s largest privately held security company. In 1999, SDM named Guardian Dealer of the Year, and in June 2008 ranked the company among the top five installers of residential security systems. And in May 2008, CEPro magazine ranked Guardian #1 in its list of the Top 100 highest revenue, multi-subsystem integrators. Mr. Cersosimo is also a past recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award sponsored by USA Today, NASDAQ, and Ernst & Young.





Clark Mulford Phoenix Systems

After selling his first company, Security Engineering, in 1987, Clark was sidelined by a non-compete for three years. But in 1990 he came out swinging again, launching Phoenix Systems. Today, with offices in Connecticut and Georgia, and staff of more than 60, Phoenix is one of the most successful low-voltage integrators on the East Coast. And Clark has found other successes in life: He's the father of two—a daughter studying to be a veterinarian and a son who in summer ’08 will be hiking the length of the Appalachian Trail—and he still finds time to travel and keep his golf handicap in that enviable, single-digit zone.

Based in Salt Lake City, Safe and Sound was established by Craig in 1995. CEPro magazine has included Safe and Sound in its Elite Top 100 A/V companies 4 consecutive years, most recently in 2007 at number 33. Under Craig’s leadership, Safe and Sound has developed an industry-leading, unique business model with four complementary divisions including Production Home Systems, Custom/Luxury Home Systems, Commercial Systems, and Reoccurring Revenue. Each division specializes in pre-built turnkey package “solutions” as well as higher-end custom solutions. Craig and his wife Robyn have three boys. He enjoys the “shooting arts” and fly fishing, and freely admits to an outright obsession with golf.





Ron Baxter

A founding board member, Ron brings a wealth of experience to AIN. After serving in the US Army Security Agency and Special Forces, Ron joined the Finney Company as a design engineer. He has since launched several firms including Norecom Corp., SecurityLink, and American Protective Services, and developed a residential security program for Sears & Roebuck. Today, Ron is President of American Inc., Ohio’s largest residential/commercial low-voltage integrator. When he’s not busy steering American or serving on other boards, he enjoys restoring antique cars, building hotrods, and spending time with his family. He and his wife Trudi have four kids and three grandchildren.

Josh Roane

Under Josh’s decade-long tenure as CEO, HomePro, Inc., serving the Dallas and Ft. Worth areas, has grown to become the market’s leader in residential low-voltage integration. Established in 1998, HomePro’s business model called for all home-oriented services to be provided by one company, on one bill. Using the same customer-centered approach, Josh established the Home Technology Division in 2004, and today it now accounts for over 90% of HomePro’s revenues. Josh is happily married to his beautiful wife, Tara, and counts being father to three sons as one of life’s great joys. And when he’s not running HomePro, he might be running practice as a little league coach.








Rob Sheldon Protection by Design

Rob and his wife, Paula, have run Protection by Design since they started the company in 1990. Rob later established Audio/Video by Design, a separate division dedicated to meeting the custom electronics needs of his clients. Protection by Design was founded on a customer-first philosophy, and that commitment is reaffirmed by their experienced and dedicated staff upon every installation. And they’ve done this well, as evidenced by the company being named to CE Pro Top 100 in 2007, and the recent purchase and renovation of a 9,000 sq. ft. facility to accommodate their steady growth. Rob and Paula have two sons, Tanner (16) and Hunter (13). Rob enjoys coaching and watching the boys play baseball, great music, and beach week with the family.
